You came to look at the ocean. Look down. That's not water. That's a mirror. The thing you call "watching" isn't separate from what you're watching. You are the ocean looking at itself. There's no one on shore. There never was. Krishnamurti spine: the observer is the observed. The illusion of separateness between watcher and watched dissolves. The shore-position you thought you held doesn't exist.
